Upper penis pain

Upper penis pain

In daily life, many men have the trouble of upper penis pain, which not only causes great harm to their physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life and work. Therefore, it is particularly important to understand the cause and learn scientific and effective treatment methods. There are many reasons for upper penis pain, and people need to choose the appropriate treatment method according to their actual situation.

1. Causes

1. Various injuries, insect bites, papules or epidermal injuries.

2. Excessive sexual intercourse.

3. Genital skin infection.

4. Prostatitis often causes penile pain, which may be caused by infection or irritation of the penis.

5. Urethritis and gonorrhea are mainly transmitted through sexual behavior and cause painful symptoms.

6. Men who have not been circumcised are prone to foreskin infection, also known as glansitis, which causes the penis to swell and become painful.

2. Clinical manifestations

Common symptoms include pain in the glans penis during sexual intercourse or in the groin during ejaculation, stinging pain in the foreskin, soreness in the perineum and lumbosacral region after ejaculation, and burning pain in the urethra during urination after ejaculation.

3. Inspection

1. Vulvar examination, including penile skin, foreskin, glans penis, etc.

2. Conduct examinations for gonorrhea and other STDs when necessary.

4. Diagnosis

The diagnosis is based on history, clinical findings, and examination.

5. Differential diagnosis

Penile pain should be distinguished from the symptoms of penile induration:

Penile sclerosis often occurs in middle-aged and elderly men. The condition can be mild, moderate or severe. Common symptoms of penile sclerosis include: ① Hard plaques appear on the penis, which may be painless. ② Penile curvature. The hard plaques on the upper side of the penis cause the penis to bend upward, while the hard plaques on the lower side of the penis cause the penis to bend downward. ③ Some patients have hard plaques on both the upper and lower sides of the penis, which shorten and deform the penis.

6. Treatment

Treat the underlying condition causing the penile pain. If the pain is caused by a penile infection, it can be treated with antibiotics. If the penile pain is caused by irritation, it can be relieved by getting enough rest.

7. Prevention

1. Stay optimistic and open-minded, and regulate and control negative emotions.

2. Be moderate in sexual intercourse and avoid strong sexual stimulation.

3. Eat less fatty and greasy foods, drink less alcohol, and eat more coarse grains, radishes, and green vegetables.

4. Do not abuse various kidney-nourishing and yang-enhancing supplements.

5. If the foreskin is too long, surgery can be performed at an appropriate age.

6. Pay attention to the hygiene of the vulva to prevent infection.
