What is the pain down there?

The reproductive organs of men and women are very different, but they both secrete a type of cell body. When the two cell bodies combine, they form a new cell body, thus creating a new life form. Although their structures are very different, both of them have the potential to cause disease. For example, unhygienic conditions can lead to bacterial infections, and excessive sexual activity can also cause symptoms. So what is causing the swelling and pain down there?

Causes: The most common cause of vulvar swelling is irritation from secretions of vulvar infection: genital tract inflammation caused by fungi, gonococci, trichomonas, and bacteria, resulting in abnormal leucorrhea, as well as irritation from urine (urine thinning, urinary incontinence) and feces (feces thinning). Local irritation caused by chemicals and drugs causes itching: direct contact with alkaline soaps, condoms, sanitary napkins, synthetic underwear, etc. In addition, bad hygiene habits can also cause vulvar swelling.

Prevention of vulvar swelling: 1. Etiological treatment. Severe vulvar swelling requires professional examination in a regular professional hospital. After the cause is identified, symptomatic treatment should be given under the guidance of a doctor.

2. For local treatment, the doctor may prepare a solution for a sitz bath, apply antibiotic ointment, etc.

In addition, to prevent and treat vulvar swelling, you should also pay attention to cleaning after each bowel movement to avoid stool contamination of the vulva. Underwear should be made of pure cotton to avoid vulvar allergy and itching. If there are ticks in the body, you should take deworming medicine in time to avoid vulvar itching and redness caused by ticks. Women who have been infected with gynecological inflammation should see a doctor immediately. Basins and towels for washing the vulva must be dedicated and should not be used for other purposes.

Differential diagnosis of vulvar swelling: 1. Vulvar itching is a symptom caused by various vulvar lesions, but it can also occur in people with completely normal vulva. It is generally more common in middle-aged women. When the itching worsens, the patient often becomes restless, which affects his life and work.

2. Fungal vaginitis is also called candidal vaginitis, which is more common in young girls, pregnant women, diabetic patients, and patients who have been treated with high doses of estrogen after menopause. Diagnosis: Vulvar swelling and itching mainly manifests in the perineum of female friends. For example, itching often occurs in the clitoris and labia minora, and can also affect the vulva majora, perineum, and even perianal skin damage areas.
