3. Kidney calcification : When kidney stones are severe, the entire renal parenchyma may be calcified. Kidney stones lead to kidney fibrosis, glomerular sclerosis and tubular atrophy. This is also the harm caused by kidney stones. Therefore, it must be discovered and treated in time.

1. Increase calcium intake: Many people wonder why we need to eat more calcium when stones are made of calcium salts? Because according to research, sufficient calcium will combine with oxalic acid and be excreted through feces, thus reducing the absorption of calcium by the intestines, which will of course reduce the chance of stones. 2. Reduce the intake of oxalic acid: Eat less spinach, tea leaves, beans, grapes, potatoes, tomatoes, oranges, plums, bamboo shoots, strawberries, cocoa, green garlic, onions and other foods that contain a lot of oxalic acid.

3. Reduce sodium intake: Eat a light diet and reduce the intake of canned and processed foods. Eat more foods containing potassium, such as bananas.
