Although many male friends do not have the habit of facial care, if you want to take care of your skin, you should follow the steps to achieve better care results. Skin care should actually become a habit, which will make your skin healthier. The steps of care generally start with cleaning, followed by exfoliation and moisturizing. 1. Cleaning If you do nothing else, cleansing your face is the single most important thing you can do. It should be the foundation of your skincare regimen, but that doesn't mean you should take soapy baths (it can over-replenish and leave your skin drier than the desert). Men's skin is often characterized by large pores and very active sebaceous glands. While these glands normally keep the skin naturally moisturized, they can often overproduce sebum, leaving skin feeling slicker than an oil slick. Neglecting to remove excess oil and dirt can clog pores and leave your skin with growing flare-ups. A basic scrub is effective, but not all face cleansers are created equal. Find a product that removes oil, is affordable, and can be used at least once a day. 2. Exfoliation Simply washing your face is usually not enough in skin care. Cleansers only remove surface oil and dirt, but what about the dirt that gets deep inside the pores? Even a careful face wash will leave most men with uneven skin. Exfoliation should be part of your daily cleansing routine (2 to 3 times a week). It helps remove debris that can't be removed with regular face washes. A good scrub should have small particles that can smooth the skin, eliminate acne, and remove general pore blockage and dirt buildup. Exfoliation softens hair follicles and makes the skin more elastic. A light shave will allow the skin to better absorb moisturizer. 3. Moisturizing Most men's skin care routines start and end with a bath of soap or a bottle of detergent, but washing your face can at least prevent you from getting giant blackheads. Even if you happen to live in a sauna, your skin will dry out after a shower, and over time, the dismal process known as aging causes your skin to lose elasticity. Add to that the horror of shaving with a sharp blade every day to meet HRM standards of personal hygiene, and you need a formula to deal with dry, tight skin. Showering and shaving can open up your pores, which can drain your skin of precious moisture, but a moisturizer can help you solve all of this. It not only replenishes the moisture content of the skin, but also prevents razor scratches. Applying sunscreen can prevent exposure to solar radiation. Because severe ultraviolet radiation can burn the skin, and long-term exposure to the sun's UVA rays can sting the skin and even cause skin cancer. A sunscreen with multiple UV protection can protect your skin and keep you away from these troubles. |
