What causes vaginal pain?

The human body is a complex whole. Every part of the body may develop diseases due to external and internal reasons, causing adverse symptoms such as pain and itching. Male penile pain is a kind of physical disease. It will bring great pain to men, and will cause heavy psychological pressure to men, affecting people's daily work and life. So, what causes penile pain?

1. Non-gonococcal urethritis: Non-gonococcal urethritis is a urethral infection caused by ureaplasma, Chlamydia trachomatis and Trichomonas.

2. Herpes virus infection: Some viruses often cause pain after invading the penis, and genital herpes is a common one. After infection, the genital area will experience burning, itching, and pain.

3. Prostatitis: Prostate inflammation often causes genital pain.

4. Balanitis: refers to inflammation of the inner layer of the foreskin and the glans penis. A lipid substance secreted by the normal foreskin can accumulate into smegma when the foreskin is too long or phimosis occurs, which can irritate the foreskin and glans penis and cause balanitis.

Balanitis is more common in cases of excessive foreskin and a history of unclean sexual intercourse. The foreskin and glans of the penis are slightly flushed, and there may be white cheese-like patches on the inner plate of the foreskin and the glans coronal sulcus. There may be needle-sized light red papules on the glans, and there may be frequent urination and painful urination. On the glans and foreskin, erythema can be seen, which gradually expands and becomes ring-shaped, and can form a superficial ulcer surface.

5. If the pain is just below the penis, it is the urethra. Generally, you should be alert when the urethra is injured. Common causes include urethritis, urinary tract infection, and mechanical damage caused by improper masturbation.

If it is the glans penis, consider balanoposthitis or other inflammation caused by not paying attention to hygiene. If it is the penis itself, it is generally seen as caused by long-term erection. The penis is composed of two penile cavernous bodies and one urethral cavernous body. The penile cavernous body is wrapped by a layer of connective tissue called "white membrane". Long-term erection can cause strain. If it is the root, it is generally seen in prostate lesions. If it is on both sides of the penis shaft, consider it as a lesion of the inguinal groove.
