What causes testicular and lower abdominal pain?

The testicles are part of the male internal reproductive organs. In life, many men have experienced testicular and lower abdominal pain but don't know what's going on. Generally, testicular and lower abdominal pain is likely caused by disease, such as lower abdominal pain caused by some bacterial infection.

1. It is mostly caused by bacteria invading the testicles. The infection route is mainly retrograde infection. It often occurs in patients with lower urinary tract infection, prostatitis, transurethral surgery, and long-term indwelling catheters, causing epididymal orchitis. It can also spread to the testicles through the blood, causing simple orchitis. The pathogenic bacteria are often E. coli, Proteus, Staphylococcus, Enterococcus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The clinical symptoms are mostly unilateral pain, spreading to the groin area. Radiation, accompanied by fever, chills, nausea, vomiting and other symptoms, scrotal skin redness and swelling, testicle and epididymis enlargement, obvious tenderness, and may be accompanied by hydrocele. Treatment needs to select drugs based on bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test, mainly antibacterial drugs. At the same time, bed rest should be carried out, and the scrotum should be lifted to relieve symptoms, avoid sexual life and physical fatigue, cold compress can be used in the early stage to prevent swelling, and hot compress can be used in the late stage to accelerate the disappearance of inflammation, etc.

2. This situation may also be caused by fatigue or fasciitis. You need to pay attention to proper exercise at ordinary times, but don't overwork or get cold. Pay attention to maintenance at ordinary times, otherwise the disease will recur. You can continue to take medicine, or cooperate with external medicines, physical therapy, acupuncture, massage and other treatments. It is best to do a back CT scan to check the situation. Avoid overeating and eating raw and cold food. Spicy and irritating food. Do not smoke or drink.

3. Acute pain is more common in orchitis and injury. In addition to bloodstream infection, orchitis is more common when bacteria retrograde through the urethra to the epididymis and testicles, causing epididymitis and orchitis. Clinically, epididymis and testicle swelling and pain can be seen. Testicular injury has a history of trauma and local swelling and congestion. Vigorous exercise or sexual intercourse and violence can sometimes cause strong contraction of the levator testis, causing the testicle with an overly long frenulum to twist and cause severe testicular pain.
