Men are very susceptible to urethritis problems, so in order to better detect these diseases and take timely treatment measures, it is necessary to pay attention to analyzing and understanding the causes. Common urinary tract infections, such as increased secretions or urethral secretions, or chronic congestion and edema, should all be vigilant. 1. Urinary tract irritation Many patients with urethritis feel a vague burning sensation in the urethra when urinating, and also experience frequent and urgent urination, and even more severe symptoms such as difficulty urinating. There are intermittent pains in the perineum and other parts, and pain when the urethra is pressed. 2. Increased secretions In the acute stage, the urethral opening is red and swollen, and there is urethral secretion, which is mucous at first and then turns to purulent. The urethral mucosa is diffusely congested and edematous, and sometimes ulcers are formed. 3. Feeling Uncomfortable When urethritis enters the chronic stage, the symptoms are alleviated, the urethral secretions decrease and become a thin slurry, but there is a stinging sensation in the urethra or discomfort during urination. 4. Urethral itching Chronic urethritis has less urethral secretions and only itching or ants feeling. Most symptoms are not as obvious as those in the acute phase, and some patients even have no symptoms. 5. Life Phenomenon If you do not urinate for a long time, a small amount of thin secretions may overflow from the urethral opening. Sometimes it may appear as a scab blocking the urethral opening in the morning or contaminating the underwear. During the examination, you need to squeeze the anterior urethra from back to front to allow a small amount of secretions to overflow from the urethral opening. 6. Three cups test If you urinate into three glasses one after another, and the first glass is turbid, while the second and third glasses are clear, it indicates anterior urethritis; if the third glass is turbid, while the first and second glasses are clear, it indicates posterior urethritis. 7. Urine test results Urine tests showed red blood cells and white blood cells, and a few had visible blood in the urine. Urethral secretion tests were positive, and pathogenic bacteria were found after culture. 8. Systemic symptoms The patients have symptoms of fatigue, colds and decreased resistance, and some patients have general discomfort, lower abdominal distension and backache, etc. Severe cases are accompanied by chills and high fever. |
