Hidden phimosis, the harm is so great

Cryptic penis is a common congenital developmental abnormality and deformity that can cause the urethra to curl into an angle, resulting in obstructed urinary tract and, in severe cases, urinary retention. Urine contains many toxins, which will inevitably cause harm if not excreted in time. Therefore, it must be corrected within a certain age (3-5 years old).

1. Overview

Hidden penis is a common congenital developmental abnormality and malformation disease, in which the penis is retracted inside the body, with only the pointed foreskin protruding outside. If you squeeze the penis skin inward with your hands, the penis will be exposed, but as soon as you let go, the penis will retract again. Therefore, some people call it buried penis.

2. Reasons

There are three reasons for hidden penis: first, poor development of the penis skin, too short; second, the foreskin cavity is too small; third, the penis skin does not cover the corpus cavernosum, causing the corpus cavernosum to retract into the body without support. If hidden penis is not treated with surgery, it will remain hidden for a long time and cannot be extended outward, and the development of the corpus will be restricted. Therefore, hidden penis must be corrected within a certain age (3-5 years old).

3. Hazards

1. If the patient's penis deformity is serious, it will cause the urethra to curl into an angle, the urinary tract to be blocked, and in severe cases, urine retention will occur. Urine contains a lot of toxins. If it is not discharged in time, the toxins in the human body will accumulate too much and will inevitably be harmful.

2. Too much urine remaining in the body will increase the burden on the kidneys and induce kidney diseases; excessive urine retention can also cause bladder damage, and in severe cases even cause bladder rupture; urinary tract obstruction can easily cause bacterial reproduction and even retrograde infection.

3. Some parents think that it is not a big deal if their children have a short penis, as it will naturally grow thicker and longer after puberty. In fact, this is not the case. Many adults who cannot have sexual intercourse due to a short penis are due to the failure to detect and treat occult penis in childhood.
