Many patients with hypertension will experience unstable blood pressure when treating hypertension. Unstable blood pressure brings great pressure to patients. So what situations in life can lead to unstable blood pressure? 1. Improper drug selection. Drugs for the treatment of hypertension can be divided into six categories according to the principle of drug action: diuretics, β-receptor blockers, calcium channel blockers, angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, angiotensin II receptor blockers, and α-receptor blockers. According to the duration of action, they can be divided into three types: short-acting, medium-acting, and long-acting. The types of antihypertensive drugs selected are different for early, middle, and late stages of hypertension and for different individual conditions. 2. Insufficient dosage. A sufficient amount of medicine can achieve the effect of lowering blood pressure. A small dosage cannot achieve the purpose of lowering blood pressure. If the blood pressure is lowered too low, it will cause insufficient blood supply to various tissues and organs. The most common symptoms are headache and dizziness. 3. Improper intervals between medications. Each drug stays in the body for a different amount of time. If the drug stays in the body for a short time, you need to take it more often every day; if the drug stays in the body for a long time, you need to take it more often every day. For example, nitrendipine stays in the body for a short time, so you need to take it 2 to 3 times a day. Lotensin stays in the body for a long time, so it only takes one dose a day. 4. Failure to take medication on time. This is a common reason for poor or unstable blood pressure control. These people often take medication at random, taking it when they remember, causing their blood pressure to fluctuate, which is very harmful to the body. 5. Emotional instability, anxiety, insomnia, and mental stress. Blood pressure is regulated by the central nervous system. The above symptoms are often accompanied by central nervous system dysfunction, which will inevitably cause blood pressure to rise. 6. Insufficient blood supply to the brain. This is a problem that is often overlooked. Insufficient blood supply to the brain, lack of oxygen in brain cells, and metabolic disorders will affect the function of the brain, causing dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, vasodilation disorders, and increased and unstable blood pressure. 7. Combination with other chronic diseases. Combination with coronary heart disease, nephritis, hyperthyroidism and other diseases can cause changes in blood pressure. |
