How many sperm does a man have in his lifetime? This is the determining factor!

Men in modern society often smoke and drink, and often stay out all night, always working overtime, just to give their families a better life. As a result, working day and night affects the health of the "next generation". In today's society, the quality of men's sperm is really worrying, and infertility is very common. So how many sperm does a man have in his life?

What does a man's sperm count depend on?

Men's health is particularly important nowadays. Men's health is not only about their physical health, but also about the quality of their sperm. Therefore, the quality of sperm is also part of men's health.

There are a large number of curved seminiferous tubules in the male testicles, which contain interstitial cells. The seminiferous tubules are where sperm are produced, and the number of sperm produced in a lifetime can reach more than 1 trillion.

The number of sperm in a man's lifetime

The average number of ejaculations a man has in his lifetime: 7,200;

The amount of semen a man ejaculates each time: 1-2 teaspoons;

The average number of times a man masturbates and ejaculates in his lifetime: 2,000 times;

The average amount of semen a man ejaculates in his lifetime: 53 liters;

Average ejaculation speed for men: 45 km/h (average speed of a bus is 40.2 km/h);

Which season has better sperm quality?

Researchers have found that changes in men's semen quality may be related to the seasons. The study found that sperm with deformed heads are more common in autumn than in spring. This is because the temperature of the scrotum is high in the hot summer, so these deformed sperm are released from the semen in autumn. The increase in sperm head defects may be related to the increase in scrotal temperature.

The proportion of immature sperm in summer is higher than in other seasons because of the hot weather. However, winter is more likely to cause defects in the tail of sperm. Spring is the season with the highest frequency of sperm tail defects. Sperm with tail defects have poor motility and it is difficult for them to reach the egg and fertilize it. In general, the highest sperm count is in winter, followed by spring; the strongest sperm motility is in autumn and winter.
