Male sterilization is the most common method of family planning in my country. In many places in my country, forced sterilization is still practiced. Male sterilization is actually a physical method of tying the vas deferens to prevent sperm from entering the female vagina. Therefore, male sterilization does not have much effect on the testicles or other reproductive organs. Men can still ejaculate normally, but without sperm. Male vasectomy is simpler, more convenient, safer and more reliable. Those who think that male sterilization will seriously damage the vitality and that a family cannot exist without the support of a "man" are wrong. At present, most female sterilizations in our country are due to this idea, not because female sterilization is better than male sterilization. Therefore, we must establish a scientific viewpoint and promote male sterilization. First, vasectomy is simple. It is located under the skin of the scrotum, superficially, and easily hooked, with a low chance of accidental ligation. Furthermore, there are no important organs, blood vessels, or nerves next to the vas deferens, so it is not easy to be accidentally injured. In addition, the incision is small, does not enter the abdominal cavity, does not cause obvious pain or bleeding, and requires few or no stitches. After the operation, you can rest for an hour and go home, and you can go back to work as usual two days later. Secondly, there are no sequelae after vasectomy, and it does not affect physical strength and sexual function; at the same time, men are generally open-minded, straightforward, and not suspicious or worried, so the psychological factors are less affected than women. However, in terms of the current national conditions in my country, male sterilization must be carried out when the couple fully understands the principles and processes of the operation and is completely voluntary. Otherwise, it will cause greater psychological pressure. Male sterilization has little impact on men, so for the majority of couples who want to conduct safe contraception, male sterilization is also a better method. However, it should be noted that both men and women cannot reproduce normally after sterilization, so this method can be used for married people with children, but it is not suitable for people who do not have children. |
