Symptoms of glansitis and post-implantitis

Symptoms of glansitis and post-implantitis

The most common diseases for men are glansitis and balanitis! Balanitis and balanitis have a lot of impact on male friends and will also bring a certain psychological burden to them. Men have a strong self-esteem and are likely to be unwilling to go to the hospital for treatment for these diseases. This will only make the situation more serious. So, what are the symptoms, signs and treatment of glansitis and balanitis?

Symptoms and signs

1. Bacterial glans phimosis: Itching, burning or pain of the glans penis, local congestion and edema, severe surface erosion, exudation or bleeding, and even superficial ulcers. Microscopic examination and culture of pus can reveal pathogenic bacteria.

2. Candidal glans balanoposthitis This often occurs when the immune system is weakened and broad-spectrum antibiotics are used. The glans penis and foreskin are itchy and painful, with local congestion and edema, small blisters and erosions, and white patches and cheese-like substances on the surface. Candida albicans is found in the secretions by microscopic examination and culture.

3. Trichomonal balanoposthitis The symptoms are similar to those of bacterial infection, and vaginal Trichomonas can be found in the secretions.

4. Long-term chronic inflammation can cause stenosis of the urethral opening and adhesion of the foreskin and glans penis.

Medication

1. Local treatment Keep the area clean and avoid irritation. Soak or apply 1:5000 potassium permanganate locally. If the pus in the foreskin sac is not drained smoothly, a longitudinal incision of the back foreskin can be performed for drainage and cleaning. Circumcision can be performed after the infection is controlled.

2. Special treatment: Special treatment should be given to infections with clear etiology. For candidal balanitis, 1% to 3% clotrimazole or ketoconazole cream can be used topically, and for vaginal Trichomonas infection, metronidazole can be taken orally.

3. Systemic treatment: Patients with severe infection, suspected necrotizing spondylitis, fever and inguinal lymph node enlargement require systemic antibiotics.

The above content is about the symptoms and signs of glansitis and balanoposthitis and the introduction of treatment. I believe everyone has learned something about it! Male friends should not be too concerned about their reputation. If they get sick, they must go to the hospital for treatment in time. This will increase the chance of recovery and reduce the harm to the body. They should develop good habits in daily life!
