When all male prostate disease patients go to the hospital, the doctor first asks the patient to do a routine physical examination. A small number of patients also ask you to do a routine semen examination, and most of the patients who do routine physical examinations on the night of semen collection account for the majority. Because most friends are not easy to see the results of routine semen examinations, so today we will talk about the indicators of routine sperm examinations for men? Although there are many causes of infertility, they are basically reflected in semen. Therefore, semen analysis is the most basic test. The standards for sperm testing are as follows: 1. Vaporization time: within 60 minutes at room temperature. 2. Tone: Uniform grayish white. 3. Sperm density: above 2.0 ml. 4. pH value: 7.2-8.0. 5. Sperm concentration: 20 periodontal 106/ml or above. 6. Male sperm motility rate: more than 75% are alive. 7. Male sperm motility: more than 50% belong to grades a and b (according to the quality of semen, they are graded a, b, c, and d). 8. Sperm morphology: more than 30% is normal. 9. Low white blood cell count: less than 1 periodontal 106/ml. 10. Vaporization time: The semen is in a gelatinous state when it is just taken out, but it will be completely vaporized within 60 minutes at room temperature. Incomplete vaporization will affect the motility of male sperm. 11. Color: Normal sperm color is uniform gray-milk. If the color is too light, the sperm concentration may be too low. 12. Sperm density: The normal amount of semen a man ejaculates is between 1.5-5.5 ml. Too much semen is often due to seminal vesiculitis; too little semen may be the result of diffuse inflammation of the prostate or seminal vesicles. 13. Sperm concentration: measured using an electronic sperm counter, the normal sperm concentration is at least 20 million per ml (20 x 106 ml). 14. Male sperm motility: Generally divided into four levels, normal sperm motility is at least 50% a and b, or 25% belongs to a level: Level a: Move forward quickly; Level B: Slow progress; Level C: Shaking without moving; D-level: No movement. 15. Male sperm characteristics: Normal sperm characteristics, the head is oval, 4.0-5.5μm long, 1μm wide. Sperm head deformity accounts for 40-70% of all heads, and there are no abnormalities in the neck, middle area or tail. Generally, it can only be properly analyzed after further fixation and staining. |
