Can men wearing condoms transmit AIDS?

AIDS is a life-threatening disease. There is no good clinical cure. It can only be controlled and delayed by taking medicine. As we all know, AIDS is a contagious disease, and it is highly contagious. Currently, AIDS patients found in clinical practice are generally caused by blood infection, sexual infection, and mother-to-child infection. The extent to which wearing condoms during sexual intercourse can prevent the transmission of AIDS remains to be studied.

Although HIV-infected people look like normal people, their blood, semen, vaginal secretions, exudates from skin and mucous membrane damage or ulcers contain a large amount of HIV, which is highly contagious; breast milk also contains the virus, which is contagious. The virus can also be found in saliva, tears, sweat and urine, but the virus is very small and not very contagious. Although condoms can effectively reduce the chance of infection, they cannot completely avoid it 100%.

The role of condoms is to ensure the safety of sex. Wearing condoms during sex will not lead to accidental pregnancy or illness, so wearing condoms is very safe. Most of the components in semen are water. The virus is either in the infected cells or free in the body fluids. In either case, the virus cannot be cut out individually. It or the cells infected by it are wrapped in a large number of water molecules composed of chemical bonds, so there is no so-called natural crack through which a single virus particle can pass. Viruses are spread and transmitted through the flow of body fluids. And a complete condom will not leak body fluids.

Condoms can only be said to be a relatively good safety tool. They have a certain preventive and control effect on the spread of sexually transmitted diseases and AIDS. However, because there are many manufacturers of condoms in China, the production strengths of different manufacturers are not the same, so the quality of condoms varies. So don’t think that you will not be infected by wearing condoms. I think keeping yourself clean should be the safest way to prevent infection.
