Boys with bladder holding urine

Many people have experienced urinating, which is very painful and frustrating. Sometimes holding urine once or twice may not have a big impact on the body, but if you habitually hold urine for a long time, you should pay attention, which may have a certain impact on the body. So what are the effects of holding urine for a long time? What happens if the bladder is damaged?

1. Holding urine for a long time makes it harder to urinate. Sometimes, the longer urine is retained in the body, the harder it is to urinate. This is because long-term urination causes the urethral sphincter to become numb, and the contraction and release of pressure become increasingly slow, making it difficult for urine to be discharged, and even if it is discharged, it will be very slow.

2. Fainting. I don't know if you have had such an experience. After a long period of urination, you can go to the bathroom, but when you urinate, you will feel dizzy. This symptom usually occurs at night, but it may occur during the day. The reason for this condition is that urine is retained in the body for too long, resulting in low blood pressure caused by vascular occlusion and contraction obstruction, resulting in a lack of blood supply to the brain. If the syncope occurs for about three minutes and the patient can wake up on his own, there are generally no complications, but there are exceptions.

3. Frequent urination, urgency and incontinence. Long-term urine retention can cause the bladder sphincter to loosen, resulting in reduced coordination ability and even loss of control over spontaneous urination, causing frequent urination, urgency and incontinence. People who hold their urine for a long time must pay more attention to it in daily life.

4. Urinary stones. If you hold your urine for a long time and it exceeds the bladder's capacity, the bladder will be damaged and the urine will flow back into the urethra. After a long period of time, stones may form. Urine stored in the bladder for a long time can also cause bacterial growth, leading to cystitis and urethritis.

If you cannot urinate in time due to work or other reasons, and this happens frequently, it will usually cause bladder spasm, which will cause serious health damage to the bladder. If the bladder is blocked, it is easy to cause inflammation, which should be checked in time, and urine tests should be performed. In addition, the health of the bladder should be improved regularly, and medication should be used in time.
