What's wrong with a man urinating blood?

In today's social production, many jobs are still dominated by men, and many families still have the concept of men working outside and women working inside. Men still bear the burden of the family and work hard outside. Mortgages, car loans, and the support of children and the elderly have become the focus of stress. They are busy at work and have many social engagements every day. Chronic diseases are gradually eroding men's physical health. Many men have experienced hematuria. Is this situation serious? What causes it? Let's talk about it below.

Normal urine contains very few red blood cells. Under a microscope, uncentrifuged urine may have 0 to 2 red blood cells per high-power field of view. If it exceeds this number, it is hematuria. If hematuria is accompanied by pain, especially colic, urinary tract stones should be considered. If accompanied by urinary pain and interrupted urinary flow, bladder stones should be considered. If accompanied by obvious bladder irritation symptoms, urinary tract infection, urinary tuberculosis and bladder tumors are more common. In addition, the cause of hematuria should be comprehensively judged based on medical history, age, color and degree of hematuria. Hematuria is the most common and important symptom of urinary and male reproductive system diseases. In addition, it can also be caused by other diseases outside the urinary system, such as cardiovascular disease, blood disease, allergic diseases, etc.

When hematuria is found, the first thing to do is to determine whether it is true hematuria, that is, to rule out false hematuria and red urine caused by certain reasons. The former is caused by bleeding mixed in the urine due to menstruation, hemorrhoidal bleeding or diseases near the urethra; the latter is caused by contact with certain pigments or oral administration of drugs such as rifampicin and certain poisons (phenol, carbon monoxide, chloroform, snake venom), drugs (sulfonamide, quinine), crush injuries, burns, malaria, erroneous blood transfusions, etc., which cause hemoglobinuria or myoglobinuria.

If you can see hematuria with the naked eye, you should take it seriously. There are very few red blood cells in normal urine that cannot be seen by the naked eye. If there are no problems in the examination, you should check whether you have taken any medications recently. Some drugs stimulate secretion or the drugs themselves are colored, which can cause false hematuria. If you find out what disease is causing the hematuria, you should actively receive treatment based on the doctor's examination.
