What is the cause of testicular pain?

What is the cause of testicular pain?

For men, the testicles are both the most important and the most vulnerable part. If you accidentally touch them, they may be irreparably damaged. Therefore, men must protect their testicles. However, many men complain of frequent testicular pain, and they don't know what's going on, and they don't know if this is serious. So, today I will talk to you about this aspect.

The symptoms of testicular pain caused by different reasons are also different. Patients with infection-induced testicular pain have more severe testicular pain. It may even feel like a knife cutting, and may be accompanied by systemic symptoms such as severe chills. At this time, the scrotum is red and swollen, and the pain is more obvious when the testicles are touched. When suffering from tuberculosis infection, it is often accompanied by a history of tuberculosis in the urinary system or other parts of the body, manifested as dull testicular pain, a bloated feeling in the lower abdomen and scrotal swelling. Testicular pain caused by prostatitis is often accompanied by an uncomfortable feeling of bloating in the perineum, as well as frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating. Testicular pain caused by testicular tumors and epididymal tumors is mostly manifested as bloating or drooping pain, and often suffers from ectopic testicles and incomplete testicular descent.

Based on the above reasons, we can summarize them into the following points:

1. Infectious diseases such as orchitis, epididymitis, testicular tuberculosis, spermatic cord inflammation, prostatitis, etc.

2. Tumor diseases such as testicular and epididymal tumors, etc.

3. Traumatic diseases such as testicular manipulation, epitesticular manipulation, testicular torsion, post-vasectomy, etc.

4. Other diseases such as varicocele, hydrocele, etc.

Seeing this, I believe everyone has already understood the causes of testicular pain. Although patients all show testicular pain, these pains are different. Therefore, its treatment methods are also different. I hope that patients can truthfully explain the symptoms of pain when seeking medical treatment.
