What causes blisters under the penis?

Blisters under the penis should be one of the male diseases. In most cases, they are related to the genitals. It may also be caused by sexually transmitted diseases or inflammation. Sometimes it may be accompanied by itching, which makes people feel embarrassed, uncomfortable, and afraid of being seen by others and looking indecent. So what is the reason for the blisters? What causes them?

1. Genital herpes

Genital herpes is a manifestation of sexually transmitted diseases, mostly caused by viral infections. Genital herpes usually has obvious blisters. Genital herpes mostly occurs at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes. First, the local skin becomes slightly red, and then groups of small water scars the size of a needle tip appear, with a slight itching and burning feeling. The itching sensation forces the patient to scratch the affected area with his hands, causing the blisters to burst and the venom to flow out. What's more terrifying is that the white liquid that flows out contains a large amount of herpes simplex virus. The virus breaks the skin nearby and invades the body, causing large-scale infection. If not treated in time, the scope will become larger and larger. The broken skin forms large areas of erosion and ulcers, and the patient feels pain, and finally scabs and heals.

2. Balanitis

Balanitis is a common male reproductive organ infection. Symptoms of balanitis include redness and swelling of the foreskin, burning pain, aggravated pain during urination, and purulent discharge from the foreskin opening. If the foreskin is turned over, the inner plate of the foreskin and the glans penis can be seen to be congested and swollen. In severe cases, there may be shallow ulcers or erosions, and small blisters.

3. Scrotal eczema

Scrotal eczema is a common type of eczema, which is limited to the scrotal skin, sometimes extending to the area around the anus, and rarely to the penis. The main symptoms of scrotal eczema are diffuse redness, swelling, and severe itching of the scrotal skin, and many pinpoint to rice-sized papules and blisters may appear at the same time.

The above introduces the possible reasons for blisters on the penis. It may be herpes, inflammation, or eczema. However, if it is accompanied by itching, please go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to avoid delaying the disease and missing the best time for treatment. Early treatment can also get rid of this annoying trouble sooner.
