What are the causes and clinical manifestations of prostate pain?

Men today are under great pressure from both life and work, and their health is also overwhelmed. Many men, especially middle-aged and elderly men, are prone to prostate diseases such as prostate pain. Severe pain will have a significant impact on the lives of themselves and their families. Therefore, you must take good care of yourself in your daily life and try to reduce the troubles caused by prostate-related diseases. The following is an introduction to the causes and clinical manifestations of prostate pain:

Causes

1. Biological factors

(1) It is an infection caused by various pathogenic microorganisms. Viruses, mycoplasmas, chlamydia, bacteria, spirochetes, fungi, trichomonas, etc. can all cause disease. The main route is urinary tract infection. The ascending infected urine spreads retrogradely from the prostatic part of the urethra to the prostatic gland duct, causing bacterial inflammation.

(2) Biological factors also include the body's immune capacity. When the body's immunity is normal, even if there are pathogens in the urethra, it will not cause infection and disease. On the contrary, if the body's immunity is reduced, the non-pathogenic bacteria that normally exist in the urinary system can also cause disease.

2. Psychological factors

Human psychological activities are very complex. Nowadays, people's psychology is generally more superficial. Due to the influence of various factors, unhealthy psychological activities such as anxiety, impatience, depression, etc. have increased. These psychological activities can lead to a decrease in the body's immune level. For example, experiments have shown that a person with long-term depressed emotions has a lower level of immunoglobulins in his blood than normal people. He is much more likely to suffer from colds, gastric ulcers, prostatitis, and even cancer than normal people.

3. Social factors

The main causes are bad living habits, or bad lifestyles, including: excessive drinking; eating spicy foods such as chili peppers; sitting for long periods of time; not liking to drink water; long-term habitual constipation; and colds.

Clinical manifestations

Prostatitis is mainly seen in young and middle-aged men, and its symptoms vary. The main symptoms of prostatitis are:

1. Systemic symptoms

Fatigue, weakness, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, high fever, chills, asthenia or septicemia. In the case of sudden onset, systemic symptoms may mask local symptoms.

2. Local symptoms

A feeling of heaviness and pressure in the perineum or suprapubic area, which worsens when sitting for a long time or having a bowel movement, and radiates to the waist, lower abdomen, back, thighs, etc.

3. Urinary tract symptoms

Burning pain, urgency, frequency, dribbling, and purulent urethral discharge during urination. Edema of the bladder neck can cause difficulty in urination, thin or interrupted urine flow, and in severe cases, urinary retention.

4. Rectal symptoms

Distended rectum, urgent and painful defecation, white discharge from urethra during defecation.

Male friends should not be careless if they have prostate pain. They must pay great attention to early treatment. If severe pain persists, please do relevant examinations to rule out the possibility of prostate cancer. When checking, please go to a regular and qualified men's hospital and receive scientific treatment under the guidance of a doctor. At the same time, during the treatment process, you should also pay attention to the regulation of diet. Do not eat too spicy and irritating food. Good living habits will help you recover as soon as possible.
