Causes of groin pain in men

Causes of groin pain in men

Men work harder than women and have better physical fitness. Most people think that men are very strong and less likely to get sick. In fact, men's physical fitness varies from person to person. Men also get tired and get sick. There are many common male diseases. Let's take a look at the causes of groin pain in men.

1. Inguinal hernia: After an inguinal hernia occurs, there may be local pulling pain and a local soft mass. It is obvious when standing and disappears when lying down. Local physical examination and B-ultrasound can also be used for diagnosis, and surgical treatment is the main treatment.

2. Varicose veins: Symptoms include a scrotal swelling and pain, and groin pulling pain, but generally it improves after lying down. The local spermatic cord is thickened and painful. Frequent attacks require surgical treatment. For specific cases, please consult a urologist.

3. Seminal vesiculitis: Seminal vesicles are the place where sperms are stored. Inflammation of the seminal vesicles can cause pain. The pain can be in the lower abdomen, perineum, or groin. Patients with acute inflammation may experience pain in the lower abdomen, which may also involve the perineum and both sides of the groin. Patients with chronic inflammation may experience dull pain in the upper pubic area, accompanied by discomfort in the perineum. Regardless of whether it is acute or chronic, the pain is particularly obvious during ejaculation.

4. Prostatitis: Groin pain in men is also one of the typical symptoms of prostatitis. Groin pain, low back pain, lower abdominal distension, frequent urination at night, frequent urination, urgency, pain when urinating, weak urination, white urine after urination, incomplete urine, and bifurcated urine are all symptoms of prostatitis. It is recommended to go to the hospital for a check-up to see if there is a problem with the prostate, or to do a prostate fluid analysis, or B-ultrasound will do.

5. Testicular pain and torsion: Male groin pain accompanied by swelling may be caused by testicular pain and testicular torsion due to orchitis, that is, blood circulation in the spermatic cord is impaired, causing testicular ischemia or even necrosis. Seeking medical attention within 4 to 6 hours of the onset of symptoms can effectively restore testicular function; but if delayed for 12 to 24 hours, irreversible damage to the testicles will occur. This symptom may also be caused by epididymal infection caused by improper underwear wearing, which should be diagnosed by ultrasound examination.

I wonder if male friends have ever heard of male groin pain. This phenomenon may be caused by some diseases. The factors introduced above are the causes of this groin pain. If male friends are troubled by this disease, they must be vigilant and go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid more serious complications.
