Male breast lumps and pain

Nowadays, there are many types of symptoms, and many men also have breast lumps. This makes many people very troubled, because the development of the disease affects their normal work and study, but many people don’t know what the reason is. So why do men have lumps and pain in their breasts? I believe many people want to find out the real reason.

What causes men to have breast lumps and pain?

1. Breast hyperplasia, breast lumps, accompanied by mild tenderness. Most of the lumps are close to the breast, often limited to one side. The lumps become cystic when they expand.

2. Mastitis. Subacute purulent mastitis causes local skin redness, swelling, heat, and pain. Tender lumps appear at the injured area. In addition, systemic symptoms such as fever may occur.

3. Breast fibroma, a clinical symptom of painless breast lumps, is common in the upper and outer part of the breast. In a small number of cases, breast fibroadenoma and breast hyperplasia coexist, and there will be mild breast pain.

4. Male breast growth and development syndrome. Male breast growth and development syndrome is a clinical medical symptom caused by abnormal growth and development of male breast tissue and abnormal proliferation of breast connective tissue due to physiological or physiological factors that cause an imbalance in the ratio of estrogen and testosterone. Physiological chest development syndrome generally occurs in newborns, puberty and middle-aged and elderly people. Physiological male breast growth and development can be seen in congenital male testicular syndrome, male testicular virilization, viral infection orchitis, testicular atrophy caused by trauma, male testicular tumors, etc.

What should men do if they have breast lumps?

1. Male breast hyperplasia is very easy to be ignored. If adult male or female breasts develop significantly abnormally, they should go to the hospital for outpatient treatment immediately.

2. However, not all abnormalities in male breast growth and development require treatment. If they are not very serious, treatment may not be required, but remember to have regular physical examinations every year to eliminate risks.
