Male genital herpes early stage

Male genital herpes early stage

Male genital herpes is a common skin disease in the male genital area. In the early stages of male genital herpes, blisters will easily appear on the genital skin, and it will also easily cause skin redness and be accompanied by obvious burning sensations. At the same time, it will also easily cause difficulty in urination or painful urination.

What are the initial symptoms of male genital herpes?

Genital herpes often occurs at the junction of the skin and mucous membranes. First, the local skin becomes slightly red, and then groups of small blisters the size of a needle tip appear, with a mild itching and burning sensation. After a few days, they dry up and form brown scabs. After the scab falls off, there is slight pigmentation, but it disappears quickly. The entire course of the disease lasts an average of one week, but relapses are common.

Genital herpes HSV infection occurs about 4 to 5 days after infection. The affected area first feels burning, and then groups of papules appear, which can be one or more clusters, and then form blisters. After a few days, it evolves into abscesses, which rupture to form erosions or shallow ulcers, causing spontaneous pain, and finally scabs and heal on their own. The course of the disease is about 2 to 3 weeks. Lesions often occur on the foreskin, glans, coronal sulcus and penis of men, and occasionally at the urethral opening.

When the late stage of male genital herpes affects the urethra and bladder, dysuria, urination pain, frequent urination, and in severe cases, urinary retention may occur. In addition, other symptoms may also appear at the same time, such as fever, general malaise, headache, neck stiffness, meningitis, and sacral nervous system dysfunction.

1. Due to the changes in sexual lifestyle in recent years, especially the emergence of oral sex, oral sex and licking, genital herpes has occurred in other parts of the body besides the genitals, such as the face, buttocks and limbs. Those primary genital herpes are manifested by a burning sensation in the affected area. The general primary damage is one or more small, itchy red papules, which quickly turn into small blisters.

2. If men develop herpes, it is usually located on the glans penis and the coronal sulcus, while women usually develop herpes in the perineum, around the anus, thighs or buttocks, and most of them will invade the cervix. However, some primary herpes only affects the cervix, so it is easy to be ignored. If infected with herpes virus, we can see normal or flushed cervix and multiple scattered ulcers. However, the virus rarely damages the vagina.

3. Genital herpes will have prominent symptoms. Many patients will have fever, general discomfort, headache, and even neck stiffness, meningitis, and sacral nervous system dysfunction. If this disease occurs, the symptoms will be obvious throughout the body. Generally, the disease will appear in the coronary sulcus and other places. In addition, when the disease occurs, special attention should be paid to the early stage. It is necessary to understand the best time for the disease, which will be helpful for treatment. If the patient has one or more small red papules and small lumps similar to papules, accompanied by itching, the papules will quickly turn into groups of small blisters containing light yellow exudate.
