Normal testicular shape

Normal testicular shape

When a boy is still in his mother's belly, his testicles are gradually forming. Even if some boys do not fully expose their testicles after birth, they will gradually become visible over time. Whether it is the shape or size of the testicles, it is a problem that male friends are more concerned about, because the testicles are closely related to male sexual ability. For normal men, what should the shape of the testicles be?

Normally, male testicles are produced with the help of HY antigens in the Y chromosome. When a male is still an embryo in the mother's body for 8 to 10 weeks, his testicular tissue has been generated and exists around the kidneys, growing and descending. When the mother is nine months pregnant, the male testicles descend into the subcutaneous channel in the groin and are contained by the scrotum. The testicles of newborn male babies are the size of soybeans and weigh about 0.5g-1g. At around ten years old, the testicles grow to the size of a glass ball. Entering puberty, they gradually grow from the size of a quail egg to the size of a walnut, and the male's life enters the secondary sexual characteristics. Gradually, the seminiferous tubules begin to thicken, the testicles begin to secrete semen, and the interstitial cells begin to secrete male hormones. Then, secondary sexual characteristics begin to appear, the penis begins to grow larger and thicker, hair begins to grow around the penis, and the male voice changes. The strong vitality of the testicles begins to decline at the age of 60, and gradually shrinks at the age of 70-80. This is the normal development process of the testicles.

Are your testicles developing normally? The shape of the testicles on both sides of a man is similar to an oval, with a relatively smooth surface, and is divided into an outer side and an inner side, a front edge and a rear edge, and an upper end and a lower end. In fact, the size of the two testicles of most male compatriots is not exactly the same. Generally speaking, the right testicle is larger than the left one, but not by much. The average size of the right testicle is 3.38cm×2.37cm×1.78cm, and the average size of the left testicle is 3.30cm×2.27cm×1.71cm. Generally speaking, if the testicle volume of an adult male exceeds 15 ml, it is considered a normal testicle.

We need to remind all male compatriots that if one day you suddenly find that your two testicles are obviously different in size, do not ignore it. You need to go to a regular hospital to register for a check-up immediately. It is very likely a tumor or some fungal inflammation, such as orchitis.

The majority of male compatriots must pay attention to the development of testicles and their own secondary sexual characteristics. When encountering problems, they should not panic, have wild thoughts, or ignore them. They should be checked and treated in time to create a better life!
