How long does it take for balanitis to heal?

Once a man suffers from balanitis, it will have many impacts on his life. Balanitis is also a common male disease to some extent, which is closely related to a man's long-term unclean sex life or disordered private life. Balanitis will make a man's foreskin extremely itchy, thus affecting the normal urination function. How long does it take for a man's balanitis problem to be completely cured?

1. Balanitis takes half a month to cure. It is usually caused by long-term exposure to humid environment, lack of attention to penile hygiene, improper underwear material, excessive foreskin, etc. Pay attention to a light diet and avoid spicy and irritating foods. Non-infectious factors are mostly due to excessive foreskin and insufficient cleaning. The unclean matter between the foreskin and the glans, that is, smegma, will accumulate and irritate the local foreskin and mucous membrane to cause inflammation.

2. Generally, excessive foreskin can lead to balanitis, which causes redness, itching, and even secretions. It is recommended that you go to a professional urology and dermatology department to check the exfoliated cells on the glans, do bacterial culture and drug sensitivity test, so that targeted medication can be used. Generally, it will return to normal in about a week.

3. To treat balanitis, patients can be given some potassium permanganate solution. Potassium nitrate solution is a relatively common disinfectant, which can kill bacteria and fungi in the external foreskin tissue and effectively remove diseases. After cleaning with potassium permanganate solution, some dilute hydrochloric acid solution can also be used.

If it is ulcerate balanitis, the patient can be given triamcinolone acetonide solution, which is a relatively common glucocorticoid drug. Glucocorticoid drugs have excellent antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and can effectively eliminate the cause of the disease.

If there is pus in the internal tissue of the foreskin, it must be drained out. Usually, the foreskin tissue is cut open to drain the pus and then cleaned with saline. Finally, antibiotics are used to prevent infection. If the patient has an excessively long foreskin, it is recommended that the patient undergo a circumcision.

In order to prevent foreskin eyelids, it is important to keep the foreskin tissue dry and clean. Also, eating more fresh vegetables and fruits and doing some exercise to strengthen your body are also good for treatment. Generally, if it is not too serious, it can be cured in a week, but if it is serious, it will take longer.
