How to get rid of foreskin swelling

If you find that your foreskin is swollen, you must not use any medicine at home. You must go to the hospital for a detailed examination. This is most likely due to a viral infection or other inflammatory symptoms. You need to take detailed care from the beginning, keep your body clean and hygienic, and change your underwear frequently to avoid bacterial growth.

Foreskin edema is a common disease among men. It is not a sexually transmitted disease and you don’t need to have too much psychological pressure. You should treat foreskin edema as soon as possible. In addition, you should also pay more attention to it in your daily life.

1. Take a bath frequently and keep your body clean;

2. Change underwear frequently to avoid bacterial growth;

3. Reduce masturbation and sexual intercourse;

4. Prepare some anti-inflammatory drugs, such as erythromycin eye ointment, sulfonamide, etc.

Foreskin edema is a painful swelling of the foreskin. Generally, men with long foreskin or phimosis are most likely to have foreskin edema, especially men with phimosis. Foreskin edema in men can easily cause glans necrosis, so the only way to cure it is to undergo circumcision, but edema may also occur after circumcision.

Usually, the symptoms will subside 3 days after the circumcision, and the wound will heal in 7-10 days. However, during this period, you must be careful not to have "sexual" thoughts to avoid some physiological reactions of the penis that may cause inflammation of the wound. Generally, you can have normal sexual life about one month after the operation.

The reason why edema occurs after circumcision is that circumcision destroys the blood circulation in the foreskin, thus causing edema. This is normal and there is no need to worry too much. Because the blood circulation in the frenulum of the foreskin is relatively abundant, the blood vessels and lymphatic vessels in the skin are cut off after the operation, and new return pathways are established, resulting in poor return, which requires a period of recovery. Generally, mild edema of the glans penis 3-4 days after circumcision is very common. Therefore, it will disappear on its own if you pay attention to maintenance. It should be noted that the time for edema to disappear varies from person to person.

How to eliminate foreskin edema? Most men's edema will recover within 2-3 weeks, but there are also patients whose edema lasts for more than 3 months. In this case, it is necessary to go to the hospital and let the doctor check and eliminate the swelling.
