Right testicle discomfort

Right testicle discomfort

Discomfort in the right testicle may be caused by acute orchitis. At this time, the testicle will become red, swollen and painful, and the scrotum will feel hot and the urination will be frequent and urgent. Therefore, everyone should pay attention to sexual moderation and not stay up late or overwork. Testicular torsion can also lead to testicular ischemia, causing the patient to experience symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. You can learn about the specific causes of the disease.

Testicular enlargement: The size of the testicles of Chinese men is roughly 4*3*2cm. Diseases such as testicular tumors, orchitis, testicular tuberculosis, testicular torsion, trauma, etc. can cause the testicles to be larger than normal testicles, which is called testicular enlargement. If the right testicle is enlarged and accompanied by pain, the reasons are as follows:

Acute orchitis: The main symptom is testicular enlargement, accompanied by redness and swelling of the scrotum, and pain. The patient may also have fever and other discomforts, as well as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating. Such patients generally have an acute onset and no history of trauma. Causes include unclean sexual life, a history of mumps, a history of urinary tract infection, or staying up late and overwork, as well as catheterization.

Testicular torsion: It mainly occurs in adolescents and is mostly caused by spermatic cord torsion, which results in acute testicular ischemia and sudden testicular pain. The pain is persistent and may worsen in paroxysmal stages. The pain may radiate to the lower abdomen and groin area. Some patients also experience nausea and vomiting. Such patients require emergency treatment.

Testicular tuberculosis: The main symptoms are enlarged testicles and obvious pain. It may be combined with epididymal tuberculosis. The patient may have a history of pulmonary tuberculosis or renal tuberculosis. Such patients are difficult to diagnose. If they need to be treated, they need to take anti-tuberculosis drugs regularly and undergo surgical treatment when necessary.

Testicular trauma: The patient has a history of obvious trauma, local injury to the scrotum, obvious swelling of the testicle on the affected side, accompanied by severe pain, and may also be accompanied by an open wound on the scrotum.

Other reasons, etc.

For testicular enlargement accompanied by pain, the commonly used auxiliary examination is scrotal color Doppler ultrasound examination to clarify the general basic situation, and then further formulate a treatment plan based on the disease.
