What is the disease of men's blood

What is the disease of men's blood

Men's bloody stools may be caused by hemorrhoids, which are caused by the growth of anal polyps due to internal heat or long-term sitting, which can cause anal bloody stools. Men's bloody stools may also be caused by anal fissures or gastrointestinal digestive infections. We need to pay attention to anal hygiene, treat hemorrhoids, adjust our diet, and apply medicine according to the doctor's advice.

Symptoms of anal fissure

1. Pain

The main feature of anal fissure is that the patient experiences periodic pain in the anus when defecating. When the patient feels the urge to defecate, the anus relaxes and the pain begins. When defecating, the feces hit the fissure and the patient immediately feels a burning or knife-like pain in the anus, which is called defecation pain. The pain stops or subsides a few minutes to 10 minutes after defecation. This period is called the pain interval. Then, due to the spasm and contraction of the anal sphincter, the patient feels severe pain again. The degree of pain varies depending on the size and depth of the anal fissure.

The pain during this period often lasts from half an hour to several hours, making the patient restless and extremely painful. When the sphincter becomes tired due to spasm, the pain gradually stops. This is a cycle of pain. Later, defecation, sneezing, coughing, urination, etc. can cause recurring cyclical pain.

2. Bleeding

When the patient defecates, a few drops of blood will flow out, or there will be a few streaks of blood in the feces, or the toilet paper will be stained red, sometimes mixed with mucus. The amount of bleeding is related to the size and depth of the anal fissure. The larger and deeper the fissure, the more bleeding there is.

3. Constipation

Patients are afraid of the pain during defecation and dare not defecate, which often causes constipation. Constipation can also aggravate anal fissures, forming a vicious cycle.

4. Itching

Most patients suffer from anal itching or perianal skin chapping due to secretions flowing out of the anus, which irritates the skin around the anus.

How to Prevent Anal Fissures

1. Do not wipe the anus with dirty or too rough paper after defecation. It is best to clean the anus with water after each defecation, or take a sitz bath for 3-5 minutes. Pay attention to wipe the moisture around the anus with a dry towel after cleaning to keep the area around the anus dry. If there is a mild anal fissure, it should be treated in time to avoid local infection of the anal fissure.

2. Eat regularly on a daily basis, eat less dry, spicy foods such as alcohol, chili peppers, Sichuan pepper, pepper, mutton, dog meat, etc.; eat more foods rich in dietary fiber, such as coarse grains, vegetables, fruits, etc.; you should also drink plenty of water every day to help soften or smooth the stool.

3. This disease is mainly related to constipation, so if you want to prevent and treat this disease, it is best to develop a habit of regular bowel movements every day. In addition, if you find that your stool is dry and hard during bowel movements, do not force it. At this time, you can go to the pharmacy to buy medicine to relieve constipation.

4. The easiest way to relieve the disease is to drink more water. Drinking more boiled water every day can not only replenish water for the body, but also promote gastrointestinal peristalsis and make bowel movements smooth. In addition, light salt water, honey water and soup before and after meals are also very good, but it is not advisable to drink too much strong tea or caffeinated beverages.

5. When using an anal speculum for examination, be careful not to use the speculum roughly to avoid damaging the anal canal.

6. Patients with anal skin injuries should receive active treatment to prevent ulcers from forming due to infection.
