Boys' lower abdominal pain

Boys' lower abdominal pain

There are many reasons for the occurrence of abdominal distension in boys in our lives. It may be caused by prostatitis, ureteral stones and ureteritis. We should understand the cause of abdominal distension before we can treat it. Boys often have abdominal distension, which may be caused by excessive sexual activity and masturbation. Male friends need to correct their bad living habits.

Common diseases that cause lower abdominal pain in men include:

1. Prostatitis: It is the most common disease causing lower abdominal pain in men. It often occurs in young men. Symptoms include lower abdominal distension and pain, frequent urination at night, frequent urination, urgent urination, and painful urination.

2. Lower abdominal pain may be caused by ureteritis or ureteral stones. Lower abdominal pain is often accompanied by lumbar paraspinal pain or lower back pain, paroxysmal colic, submicroscopic hematuria, and ureteral caliber pain.

3. Acute appendicitis: commonly known as appendicitis, it can occur at any age, but it is more common between the ages of 20 and 40. Most patients experience pain in the upper abdomen that moves to the right lower abdomen, and the pain reaches its peak in about 4 to 6 hours. At this time, the pain may even be aggravated by coughing or moving the body.

4. Acute cholecystitis: The pain usually occurs after meals or in the middle of the night, and is located in the right upper abdomen or upper abdomen. Sometimes the pain spreads to the right shoulder or shoulder blade, and is accompanied by fever, vomiting, jaundice, etc.

5. Acute pancreatitis: Common symptoms include severe and persistent upper abdominal or left upper abdominal pain (sometimes the pain extends to the back), nausea and vomiting, and fever. The pain will be slightly relieved when the body bends forward.

6. Acute gastroenteritis: Most cases are caused by food poisoning due to eating unclean food, usually accompanied by severe vomiting, diarrhea, fever and other symptoms.

7. Ulcer perforation: The typical symptom of sudden onset is severe upper abdominal pain. Other symptoms include abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, fever, etc. Severe cases may even cause severe peritonitis.

Therefore, it is recommended that patients go to a local regular hospital for examination as soon as possible, preferably to the urology department.
