Male phobia

Male phobia

Male phobia is mainly manifested as an unconditional and extreme fear of men, and even an unwillingness to contact various male friends, regardless of the other party's purpose. It even has a very strong resistance reaction to men. It usually occurs frequently in adolescent women who have been hurt, and most of them are caused by some external factors.

Introduction

Androphobic patients will be very nervous and unnatural when interacting with men. It is not just as simple as being "shy", the symptoms are very strong, often with blushing faces, slurred speech, and even refusing to talk to men.

Androphobia is a social disorder that seriously affects the patient's normal social life and may even lead to other mental illnesses.

Androphobia is common among adolescent girls. It can also occur in boys, and the social barriers it causes are more serious.

Cause

There is no medical consensus on the cause of male phobia, but there are some possible causes:

This may be related to the fact that the patients were criticized too much for having their parents’ high expectations of them in their early years. In such an educational environment, they tend to raise their own requirements and try to figure out other people’s feelings so that they can perform better. The more they do this, the more nervous they will become.

This may be related to the lack of love in the early years of the patients, especially the love from male relatives. Therefore, they do not know how to interact with men and how to accept love from men. If their father is too strict and fierce and lacks gentleness and delicacy, it is more likely to cause girls to develop a fear of men.

This may be caused by improper education received by the patient in his early years. For example, a daughter who has been educated by her single mother to be hostile to men may also develop a strong aversion to men.

It may also be related to the psychological trauma suffered by the patient in his early years, such as being bullied or abused by his father, brother or other boys, or being sexually assaulted or harassed.
