Male friends are afraid of breast hypertrophy, because it is obvious that there is some disease in the body. Male friends with breast hypertrophy can go to the hospital for internal medicine examination, and then listen to the doctor's advice before taking the next step. Male breast diseases mainly include male breast hypertrophy, male breast pain, male breast hyperplasia, and male breast cancer. There are several factors that may cause a man's breasts to grow too large: 1. Increased estrogen levels: ① Testicular tumor: Testicular tumors increase the production of estrogen, which in turn inhibits the secretion of gonadotropin, leading to a secondary decrease in androgen secretion. This leads to a significant imbalance in the estrogen/androgen ratio and the occurrence of breast hyperplasia. ② Liver cirrhosis and alcoholism: When liver function declines, the degradation of estrogen weakens, and at the same time, the aromatization effect of androgens increases, causing a relative increase in estrogen. 2. Low androgen secretion: Primary or secondary testicular dysfunction, such as patients with agnosia or orchitis, has decreased testicular function and decreased androgen secretion. At the same time, gonadotropin feedback increases, stimulating cells to secrete testosterone, part of which is converted into estrogen in the periphery. The final result is an increase in the estrogen/androgen ratio, leading to male breast development. 3. Androgen receptor insensitivity: Although the level of sex hormones in the blood circulation of patients with testicular feminization is normal, the androgen receptors are insensitive to testosterone, resulting in an imbalance in the estrogen/androgen effect ratio in the local breast, with the androgen effect weakened and the estrogen effect relatively enhanced, leading to breast hyperplasia. Men also have breast pain. The causes of pain are similar to those of women, mainly due to endocrine disorders caused by liver disease or medication, which cause imbalances in hormone concentrations in the blood, leading to breast hyperplasia. In the early stages of the disease, one or both breasts of men will rapidly enlarge, accompanied by local pain and swelling, and X-rays show glandular tissue distribution. First of all, it should be made clear that this is a pathological condition. Male breast hyperplasia is also inextricably linked to breast cancer, so once discovered, the cause must be identified and treated. At the same time, you should eliminate tension and depression, eat less fatty meat, egg yolks, and animal offal to prevent endocrine disorders, and avoid drinking alcohol and eating spicy, stimulating, and seafood foods. About 20% of male breast cancer patients have relatives who suffer from similar diseases. Therefore, genetic factors are an important cause of male breast cancer. But more inducing factors are acquired. Regardless of whether it is caused by congenital or acquired factors, men with male hormone deficiency and excessive female hormone secretion are more likely to develop breast cancer. Liver problems may also lead to male breast cancer. Lack of activity and obesity are also a cause. Like other cancer inducing factors, strong radiation is also an important one. |
