White urine refers to urine that is milky white and turbid, like rice washing water, lime slurry or milk. It is the cause of the presence of yellow urine pigment in urine. In clinical medicine, the common white urine has the following three conditions: crystal urine, purulent urine and chyluria. Types of leukuria In clinical medicine, there are three common types of white urine: 1. Crystal urine: The urine is white, like lime slurry, and often appears at the end of the urine. People with white urine feel a little discomfort in the urethra and may have angina pectoris. Normal urine contains a lot of organic or inorganic substances, which are usually dissolved, so the urine is transparent. If there are more of these substances and they are saturated, they will precipitate and form crystal urine. Crystal urine is not a symptom. As long as you pay attention to drinking more water and maintain good urination, it will not occur easily. 2. Pus and urine: The urine is white, like rice washing water. There are often floating sediments, and there are more milky white sediments after being left still. This type of white urine is often accompanied by symptoms such as inability to hold urine, frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain, urinary incontinence, back pain, fever, etc. Symptoms that may cause purulent urine include renal tuberculosis, renal abscesses, or urinary tract infections caused by infarction or foreign bodies. At this time, the patient should go to the hospital for further examination to clarify the location and cause of the infection and carry out targeted treatment. 3. Chylous urine: The urine is white, like milk, sometimes mixed with white viscous fluid or blood. When tired or eating high-fat food, the urine is obviously white, and when resting or eating low-fat food, the urine becomes lighter or the urine is chylated. This disease indicates that there are changes in the body's lymph vessels. The location of the changes can be clearly determined through lymphangiography. Chinese herbal medicine or surgery is usually used for treatment. Causes of urine white pathology Normally, fresh urine is light yellow, which is because the urine contains a yellow urochrome. However, the color of urine can also change depending on how much water you drink. Drinking more water and urinating more often will result in a smaller proportion of urochrome in the urine, so the color will be lighter; drinking less water will result in a larger proportion of urochrome in the urine, so the color will look yellow. If the urine is left for some time, the color of the urine will become darker and darker, which is because some of the urochrome in the urine is oxidized into urochrome. The waste products produced and excreted by the body every day are generally relatively stable, so the color of urine will not change easily. 96%-99% of urine is water, and the vast majority of the rest is waste, such as blood uric acid, creatinine, etc. The average person urinates 1000-2000ml a day, of which men 1500-2000ml a day and women 1000-1500ml a day. The urine is light yellow in color, transparent, and has no sediment or turbidity. The freshly excreted urine has a unique grassy fragrance, and after being left for a long time, it will have an ammonia smell due to decomposition. |
