We all know that the vagina can stretch freely, but sometimes we feel that our scrotum is particularly tight. At this time, we should pay enough attention to it and observe whether there is redness on the skin surface, because scrotal eczema may cause the scrotal epidermis to tighten and cause water loss. We need to replenish vitamins in time and eat more fruits and vegetables. So, why is the testicular skin tight? 1. Causes The causes of scrotal eczema are complex and include both internal and external factors. 1. Internal factors People with allergic constitutions, those who are under long-term mental tension and have large mood swings are prone to this disease. In addition, people with certain diseases, such as chronic digestive system diseases, endocrine disorders, and metabolic disorders, are also prone to this disease under the influence of external factors. 2. External factors (1) Underwear factors: This is mainly due to the unreasonable design of traditional men’s underwear. (2) Drug factors: Drug factors are the main cause of certain eczemas, especially eczema-type drug eruptions. 2. Clinical manifestations 1. Acute scrotal eczema The main symptom is itching, and patients often discover the disease because of itching in the scrotum. As the disease progresses, the itching gradually worsens, and scratching cannot relieve the itching. In severe cases, it affects sleep and work. 2. Chronic scrotal eczema It is caused by long-term unhealed acute or subacute eczema and repeated attacks. Due to the long time and constant scratching, the skin of the scrotum becomes dry and thickened, with deep wrinkles and walnut-like skin, often with thin scabs and scales, and the skin pigmentation deepens; there are also cases where the pigmentation is reduced due to scratching. There is often severe itching and insomnia. Due to the difficulty in treatment and repeated failure to heal, the scrotal skin may change like eczema. 3. Subacute scrotal eczema It is a transformation from acute scrotal eczema, characterized by mild thickening and mild erosion of the scrotal skin, more scaling, little exudate, and still severe itching. 3. Treatment 1. Drug treatment Since scrotal eczema is related to allergies like eczema in other parts of the body, the drugs used to treat allergies can be used to treat scrotal eczema. For example, some commonly used antihistamines include cyproheptadine, chlorpheniramine, loratadine, cetirizine, etc. Topical drugs are mainly some weak corticosteroid ointments, such as triamcinolone ointment. 2. Scrotal care Avoid re-irritating the area, avoid scratching the area with your hands as much as possible, do not use hot water or soapy water to clean the area, and do not apply strongly irritating drugs on the area. Pay special attention to not applying hormone drugs on the area casually, as these can easily worsen or relapse the disease. Avoid eating some irritating foods, such as onions, ginger, garlic, strong tea, coffee, alcohol and other foods and drugs that are likely to cause allergies. |
