How to treat severe prostate calcification?

Men over 40 should pay attention to regular prostate examinations, because the age group of 40 to 60 is the peak period for prostate calcification, which may be caused by normal physiological changes or other physical diseases. After the examination is confirmed, regular treatment should be carried out according to the doctor's instructions, and various preventive measures should be taken in life.

Generally, no treatment is needed for prostate calcification without obvious clinical symptoms. If there are other prostate lesions, treatment will be given according to the specific situation.

Antibiotic treatment

It is currently the basic and commonly used method for the treatment of prostate calcification. However, the treatment effect of chronic prostatitis is not satisfactory. The reasons are: ① Drug resistance of bacteria, pathogens, and microorganisms. ② It is difficult for drugs to reach effective therapeutic concentrations in the alveoli. ③ Large doses and over-time use of drugs not only cannot cure prostatitis, but may also cause abnormal liver and kidney function.

Glandular injection therapy

This treatment method is a supplement to antibiotics in the treatment of prostate hyperplasia and calcification. However, many years of clinical practice have found that this treatment method has insurmountable drawbacks.

Physical therapy

With the help of various physical factors such as electricity, heat, light, sound, and water, it acts on the prostate gland, improves local blood circulation, and helps to dissipate inflammation, but it cannot fundamentally kill bacteria, pathogens, and disease-causing microorganisms. Clinically, it is only used as an auxiliary treatment.

Prevention

1. Maintain a good mood, cultivate hobbies, build firm confidence, eliminate anxiety, and divert attention from prostate diseases.

2. Pay attention to your diet, avoid spicy food, tobacco and alcohol, eat more fruits and vegetables, eat a nutritious diet, develop good living habits, and enhance your disease resistance.

3. Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, avoid excessive fatigue, do appropriate physical exercise, especially exercises to strengthen the pelvic muscles, and avoid long-term sitting, cycling, etc.

4. Sexual life should be regular, avoiding too little or too frequent sex.

5. Drink more water and urinate more frequently in daily life to keep bowel and bladder function smooth.
