Testicular pain due to tight underwear

Testicular pain due to tight underwear

The testicles are an important part of the male body, and they are also very fragile. Many men like to wear tight clothes, especially underwear. If they are too tight, it will cause testicular pain in men. In fact, this situation generally does not require treatment. Try to wear loose clothes and pay more attention to rest. Generally, the pain symptoms will be relieved, so you don’t have to worry too much.

Causes of testicular pain

Scrotal inflammation

Scrotal inflammation is also a cause of testicular pain in men. The scrotum is responsible for the growth and development of sperm, and also for the temporary storage of sperm. Scrotal inflammation not only stimulates male testicles, but also damages sperm in the seminal vesicle, causing sperm death, thereby reducing male fertility and leading to male infertility.

Other inflammatory diseases

The causes of male testicular pain include other inflammatory diseases, such as prostatitis, male endocrine disorders, urinary tract infections, etc. The presence of these diseases can cause male testicular pain.

Orchitis

Orchitis is a common cause of testicular pain in men. Orchitis is caused by inflammation of the testicles. In most cases, it is caused by the deterioration of testicular disease. The testicles feel painful due to the stimulation of inflammation. In addition, the presence of orchitis will seriously damage the male testicular function and reduce the ability of the testicles to produce sperm. If not treated in time, it will cause male infertility.

Epididymitis

Another cause of testicular pain is epididymitis. The male epididymis is adjacent to the testicles. Inflammation caused by infection of the epididymis will also spread to the testicles. Like orchitis, it will irritate the testicles and cause testicular pain in men. Epididymitis can also damage the testicles and cause male infertility.

Common symptoms of testicular pain

1. Acute testicular pain

Orchitis and testicular injury are common factors causing acute testicular pain. In orchitis, the testicles are enlarged and painful, and the patient has a high body temperature, fear of cold, vomiting, headache and lower abdominal pain. Testicular injury is generally caused by trauma. Vigorous exercise or sexual intercourse and violence can sometimes cause strong contraction of the levator testis muscle, causing the testicle to twist and cause severe pain. The clinical symptoms of acute testicular pain are more obvious and easy to diagnose.

2. Chronic testicular pain

Chronic testicular pain may be caused by inflammation. The pain is mild, radiating, and lasts for a long time. It is difficult to determine the exact location of the inflammation. Experts point out that testicular pain is not necessarily proportional to the severity of the inflammation, but is related to the individual's nerve sensitivity.

Chronic testicular pain may also be caused by varicocele or pain radiating from other parts of the testicle. At this time, corresponding examinations should be carried out to carefully identify the real cause in order to provide symptomatic treatment.

3. Symptoms caused by different reasons are also different

Patients with infection experience severe testicular pain, even like a knife cutting, accompanied by systemic symptoms such as severe chills. At this time, the scrotum is red and swollen, and the pain is more obvious when the testicles are touched.

When suffering from tuberculosis infection, it is often accompanied by a history of tuberculosis in the urinary system or other parts of the body, manifested by dull testicular pain, a feeling of bloating in the lower abdomen and swelling of the scrotum. In severe cases, pus will flow out. When these lesions are touched by hand, there are uneven nodules, which are hard in texture and often adhere to the scrotal skin.

Testicular pain caused by prostatitis is often accompanied by a swollen and uncomfortable feeling in the perineum, as well as frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating.
