I believe that many men have experienced the problem of inability to urinate completely. This is definitely abnormal and is most likely caused by inflammation of the urinary system. It may also be caused by non-inflammatory reasons, such as urinary tract obstruction in men. In addition, it may also be caused by psychoneurological factors. 1. Inflammatory stimulation When there is inflammation in the bladder, the nerve receptor threshold is lowered, the urinary center is in an excited state, resulting in incomplete urination and a decrease in urine volume (<300-500 ml/time for adults). Therefore, incomplete urination is an important symptom of cystitis, especially acute cystitis and tuberculous cystitis. Other diseases, such as prostatitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis, chronic penile capitis in children, vulvitis, etc., can also cause incomplete urination. Under the stimulation of inflammation, incomplete urination, urgency and pain often occur at the same time, which is called urinary tract irritation syndrome, commonly known as "tri-urination syndrome". 2. Non-inflammatory irritation In addition to inflammatory stimulation, there is also non-inflammatory stimulation. For example, if a man has urinary stones or foreign objects blocking the urinary tract, this can also cause men to have difficulty urinating. This is also something to pay attention to. 3. Reduced bladder capacity Such as bladder space-occupying lesions, pressure from an enlarged uterus during pregnancy, tuberculous bladder contractions, or larger bladder stones. 4. Psychoneural incontinence Incomplete urination occurs only during the day or before going to sleep at night, often due to nervousness or hysteria. It may also be accompanied by urinary urgency and pain. Secondly, this situation is more common in prostate hyperplasia. In addition to the symptom of incomplete urination, other symptoms of prostate hyperplasia include: difficulty urinating, abnormal urination, and patients with prostate hyperplasia. There is also the situation that urethral pressure causes the urine stream to become thinner, and even adverse symptoms such as interrupted urination and urine dripping may occur. Prostatic hyperplasia can also cause abnormal urination such as frequent urination, urgency, and increased nocturia. Frequent urination is a precursor to prostatic hyperplasia. Generally, people who do not often get up at night will have 1 to 2 small urinations at night. Bowel movement: if prostate hyperplasia occurs, bowel movements may develop from 2 times a night to 4-5 times a night. Prostatic hyperplasia is a very scary disease, because in the later stage of prostatic hyperplasia, it is very likely to cause uremia. The patient empties urine at the right time, but the urination time is longer than that of normal people. In the middle stage, the urethral obstruction worsens, the urethral resistance increases, and exceeds the urination capacity of the bladder. The patient will have symptoms such as frequent urination and urgency. The urine in the bladder cannot be completely emptied, so men will have incomplete urination. |
