Do you know why sperm is transparent?

Sperm is very important to men and is a major factor in conceiving the next generation. The quality of sperm directly affects the health of the next generation of babies. Semen contains a lot of substances. If these nutrients are toxic or not nutritious, then the sperm cannot produce a healthy baby. Some men have transparent sperm. Many people don’t understand this. So let me introduce to you what is going on with transparent sperm?

Normally, the amount of semen just ejaculated is 2-6ml, viscous, milky white, and contains grayish white clots. After about 10-20 minutes, the clots liquefy themselves and become translucent, turbid, thin mucus. The smell of semen is produced by arginine secreted by the prostate in the semen, which is a unique fishy smell. Suggestion: For this situation, it is difficult to judge with the naked eye. If there are other uncomfortable symptoms, go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and treat it accordingly.

(1) Semen volume: The normal volume should be more than or equal to 2ml (milliliters). If it is more than 7ml, it is too much. At this time, not only will the sperm density decrease, but it will also be easy to flow out of the female vagina, resulting in a decrease in the total number of sperm. It is common in patients with seminal vesiculitis. If the total volume is less than 2ml, it is a small amount of semen. Less than 1ml is too little, which can easily lead to infertility.

(2) Color: The normal color is grayish white or slightly yellowish. If the semen is milky white or yellowish green, it indicates inflammation in the male reproductive tract or accessory glands. If it is pink or red, or red blood cells can be seen under a microscope, it is bloody semen, which is common in patients with accessory glands or posterior urethritis, and occasionally in patients with tuberculosis or tumors.

(3) Liquefaction time: After normal semen is ejaculated, it will become jelly-like under the action of seminal vesicle coagulase. After 15-30 minutes, it will become liquid under the action of prostatic liquefaction enzyme. This is called semen liquefaction. If semen still does not liquefy 30 minutes after ejaculation, it is abnormal.

(4) Viscosity: When a glass rod touches the liquefied semen and gently lifts it, a semen thread will form. If the semen is normal, the length of the semen thread should be less than 2 cm.
