Male sexual function is an indispensable confidence for a man. It is not only for the needs of men, but also for the happiness of the family. Low sexual function is not only a physiological problem for men, but also seriously affects men's confidence. It is imperative to treat male sexual dysfunction. When it comes to treatment, examination is indispensable. Examination can clarify the cause of the disease. Only by understanding the cause of the disease can we take medicine and finally cure the disease. So, how to check male sexual function? Unlike the female urinary system, most of the male reproductive system is located outside the human body. This external structure includes the scrotum and testicles. Penis: It is the male organ used for sexual intercourse. It has three parts: the root, which is attached to the abdomen; the shaft, or shaft; and the glans, which is the cone-shaped part at the end of the penis. The glans, also called the penis head, is covered with a loose layer of skin called the foreskin. This skin is sometimes removed in a procedure called circumcision. The urethra, which is the tube that carries sperm and urine, opens at the top of the penis. The glans of the penis also has some relatively sensitive nerve endings. The penis is cylindrical in shape and consists of three ring-shaped chambers. These chambers are made of a unique sponge-like tissue. This tissue contains numerous large volumes that fill with blood when a man is sexually aroused. As the penis fills with blood it becomes increasingly rigid and erect, allowing for infiltration during intercourse. The skin of the penis is loose and stretchy to accommodate changes in the size of the penis during erection. Semen contains sperm (somatic cells), and when a man reaches sexual pleasure, semen is discharged from the end of the penis (ejaculation). When the penis is erect, urine is discharged from the urethra, and semen is only allowed to ejaculate during orgasm. Scrotum: This is a loose, pouch-like sac of skin that hangs behind and below the genitals. It contains the testicles (also called the testicles), as well as numerous nerves and blood vessels. The scrotum acts as a "climate control system" for the testicles. For normal sperm growth and development, the temperature of the testicles must be slightly lower than the body's temperature. The unique muscles of the scrotal wall allow it to contract and release pressure, bringing the testicles closer to the body for warmth or away from the body for cooling. Testicles (testes): These are egg-shaped organs, the size of a large olive, located in the scrotum, with a structure called the seminiferous tract on either side. Most men have two testicles. The testicles produce estrogen, which is key to the production of testosterone, and growth hormone, which produces sperm. Within the testicles is a mass of coiled, tubular material called the vas deferens. These ducts carry sperm cells. |
