The seminal vesicle is an accessory gland of the male reproductive organ. Although it is located in a relatively "hidden" position, it is not easy to cure after being infected by bacteria and often recurs. Prostatic seminal vesiculitis is a common disease in men's lives. So, what are the clinical symptoms of this disease? Symptoms: (1) Hematospermia: Hematospermia is the discharge of blood during ejaculation. The semen is pink or red or contains blood clots. In acute cases, the hematospermia phenomenon is more obvious. (2) Frequent urination, urgency, and pain during urination: In acute cases, urgency and pain during urination are obvious, and dysuria may be seen. In chronic cases, frequent urination, urgency, discomfort during urination, and a burning sensation are the most obvious symptoms. (3) Pain: Acute cases may cause pain in the lower abdomen, which may also involve the perineum and the inguinal cleft on both sides. Chronic cases may cause dull pain in the suprapubic area, accompanied by discomfort in the perineum. The pain symptoms are significantly aggravated during ejaculation. (4) Other symptoms: fever, chills, and shivering are systemic symptoms of acute seminal vesiculitis. Hematuria is also a manifestation of acute seminal vesiculitis. Ejaculation pain, low libido, spermatorrhea, and premature ejaculation are seen in chronic patients. (5) Auxiliary examination: Routine examination of semen shows a large number of red blood cells and white blood cells. The bacterial culture of semen is positive. Routine blood examination shows a significant increase in white blood cells in acute cases. When performing anal examination on patients with seminal vesiculitis, enlarged seminal vesicles can be felt, accompanied by tenderness. Mild tenderness may also be felt in the lower abdomen, perineum and suprapubic area. Treatment Notes 1) To make a clear diagnosis of seminal vesiculitis The diagnosis of seminal vesiculitis is mainly based on symptoms and signs. The main manifestation of seminal vesiculitis is the discharge of blood in semen during ejaculation. The semen is pink or red or contains blood clots. In acute cases, the phenomenon of blood in semen is more obvious. Urethroscopy is helpful for the diagnosis of this disease. Under the urethroscope, it can be seen that the seminal vesiculitis is enlarged, the surface mucosa is congested, loose, and easy to bleed. It is painful when touched. Sometimes, the enlarged seminal vesiculitis mucosa can be seen to be pale and the blood vessels are unclear. 2) While receiving treatment, you must also develop positive coping strategies Many patients with seminal vesiculitis often suffer from severe psychological burden due to the long-term treatment of the disease. They may have varying degrees of mental symptoms and suicidal tendencies, which are extremely unfavorable to the treatment and recovery of the disease. The cause of the disease in some patients is severe mental and psychological abnormalities. Many doctors believe that seminal vesiculitis is a psychosomatic disease. |
