What are the treatment methods for hemorrhoids in boys?

The incidence of hemorrhoids is relatively high, and the impact on patients is also relatively large, especially for male friends who engage in physical labor. Therefore, they must want to know the treatment methods for male hemorrhoids. Next, this article will introduce 7 methods for male hemorrhoids treatment. If these methods can't help your disease at all, then you need to go to the hospital for treatment.

What are the treatments for hemorrhoids in boys? The treatments for hemorrhoids in boys are as follows:

1. General treatment: It is suitable for most hemorrhoids, including the early stage of thrombotic and impacted hemorrhoids. Pay attention to diet, avoid alcohol and spicy foods, increase fiber foods, eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water, change bad bowel habits, keep bowel movements smooth, take laxatives when necessary, and clean the anus after defecation. For prolapsed hemorrhoids, pay attention to gently push the hemorrhoids back with your hands to prevent them from falling out again. Avoid sitting or standing for long periods of time, do appropriate exercises, and take a warm water (can contain potassium permanganate) sitz bath before going to bed.

2. Local medication treatment: It has been widely used. The drugs include suppositories, ointments and lotions, most of which contain Chinese herbal ingredients.

3. Oral medication treatment: generally used to treat varicose veins.

4. Injection therapy: It is more effective for grade I and II bleeding internal hemorrhoids. The sclerosant is injected around the submucosal venous plexus to cause inflammatory reaction and fibrosis, thereby compressing the varicose veins. The treatment can be repeated after one month to avoid injecting the sclerosant into the mucosal layer and causing necrosis.

5. Physical therapy: laser therapy, cryotherapy, direct current electrotherapy and copper ion electrochemical therapy, microwave thermocoagulation therapy, infrared coagulation therapy, which are rarely used.

6. Rubber loop ligation: ligating the root of hemorrhoids to cut off blood supply and cause the hemorrhoids to fall off and die; suitable for II and III degree internal hemorrhoids, and more suitable for giant internal hemorrhoids and fibrotic internal hemorrhoids.

7. Surgical treatment: It is suitable for patients who are ineffective with conservative treatment, have severe hemorrhoid prolapse, have large fibrotic internal hemorrhoids, have poor treatment with injections, and have anal fissures and fistulas. Through surgery, the prolapsed anal pad is restored and the structure of the anal pad is preserved as much as possible, so as to minimize the impact on the ability to control bowel movements after the operation. There are four types of surgical treatment: ① thrombosed external hemorrhoid peeling; ② traditional hemorrhoidectomy, i.e. external peeling and internal ligation; ③ hemorrhoid circumcision; ④ PPH surgery.

The above treatment methods are also common treatment methods, but they may not be suitable for you. The best way for patients with hemorrhoids is to go to the hospital for examination in time. Don’t believe in the medical technology of small stalls. Early detection will make treatment faster. Severe hemorrhoids may also cause heavy bleeding, so don’t underestimate this disease. I believe that if you correct your attitude towards treatment, health will not be far away from you.
