Generally speaking, it is impossible to recover from prostatitis on its own. It must undergo some formal treatment to see some improvement. However, some patients do not master professional treatment methods, which will cause prostatitis to become serious again, so it will gradually change from acute to chronic. Let us understand whether prostatitis will get better if it is not treated. It will not heal itself. The normal size of the prostate is about 4*3*2cm. Prostate fluid examination: PH6.3-6.5, lecithin greater than 75%, at least three +, red blood cells less than 5/HP, white blood cells less than 10/HP. You can take large doses of Chinese herbal medicines such as Sini Tang, Fuzi Tang, and Baitong Tangda for treatment. ① Internal medicine treatment: Pharmacokinetic studies and clinical experience have shown that only a few antibiotics can reach effective therapeutic concentrations in prostate secretions in the absence of acute prostatitis. TMP can penetrate into the prostate fluid and has been shown to successfully cure chronic bacterial prostatitis caused by sensitive bacteria. Long-term treatment (12 weeks) is more effective than short-term treatment (2 weeks). In the absence of azotemia, the following antibiotic treatments can be selected based on bacterial culture and drug sensitivity testing: SMZCo (TMP160mg+SMZ800mg), taken orally, twice a day, for 12 weeks. TMP, 2 tablets each time (100 mg/tablet), twice a day, for 12 weeks. Carbenicillin, 2 tablets (383 mg/tablet) 4 times a day, orally, for at least 4 weeks. Minocycline 100 mg orally, twice a day, for at least 4 weeks. Erythromycin 500 mg orally 4 times a day for at least 4 weeks. Specific treatment must take into account the principle of individual differences and the patient's tolerance to the drug. Norfloxacin and ciprofloxacin are also effective drugs for the treatment of prostatitis. Most patients with chronic bacterial prostatitis can rarely be cured by medical treatment, but as long as they maintain a small dose of suppressive treatment with appropriate oral medications to ensure that the urine is sterile (such as TMP100mg, once a day, or TMP160mg+SMZ800mg, once a day), the patient can be relatively close. If the suppressive treatment is interrupted, the bladder urine will be reinfected and the symptoms will reappear. ②Surgical treatment: Regardless of whether chronic prostatitis can be cured by medical treatment, surgical treatment can be performed. Since prostatitis combined with stones is difficult to cure with antibiotics alone, chronic prostate infection and prostate stones are often indications for surgery. Unfortunately, surgical complications (sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence) limit the choice of this surgery. If transurethral prostatectomy can completely remove the infected tissue and stones, prostatitis will be cured, but it is difficult to achieve this effect because there are also a large number of infected lesions in the tissues around the prostate. The above article tells us in detail whether prostatitis can be cured without treatment. Only some patients without any symptoms do not need treatment, while other patients need treatment. If they do not receive treatment, it will cause infection, especially after surgery. |
