Men should stay away from six taboos for health and kidney tonic

Kidneys are the foundation of the human body. Men should nourish their kidneys. In addition to those well-known precious medicinal materials and ancestral secret recipes for nourishing the kidneys and strengthening yang, have you ever thought about whether you should reduce the damage to the kidneys caused by daily bad habits while nourishing the kidneys? In fact, male kidney deficiency is also "caused" by himself. Let's take a look at what behaviors of men will harm the kidneys.

1. Drink water when you are thirsty

Most men will neglect to drink water when they are busy. If they wait until they feel thirsty to drink water, it means that the body has begun to lack water. The metabolic waste in the human body is mainly processed by the liver and kidneys. The kidneys only account for 1% of the body weight but have to accept 1/4 of the body's cardiac output. 1 to 2 liters of blood pass through the kidneys every minute, so the kidneys process far more waste than other organs. The most important thing for the kidneys is to regulate the balance of water and electrolytes in the human body, metabolize the waste generated by physiological activities, and excrete it in the urine. However, when performing these functions, they need sufficient water to assist. Therefore, lack of water in the body will inevitably bring pressure and harm to the kidneys.

Solution: Developing a habit of drinking plenty of water can dilute urine, allowing toxins to be excreted from the body quickly and preventing kidney stones.

2. Excessive drinking

If your kidneys have started to sound the alarm, you must strictly abstain from alcohol. If you continue to drink excessively, or even drink large quantities of alcohol, uric acid will accumulate and cause obstruction of the renal tubules, and in severe cases, it will cause kidney failure.

Solution: If you suspect that your kidney function is impaired, you need to have regular urine tests, as urine tests are the simplest and quickest way to understand your kidneys. At the same time, you should quit smoking and drinking.

3. Drink beverages instead of water

Many men like to use cola and other drinks instead of plain boiled water, but the caffeine contained in these taste drinks often leads to increased blood pressure, and high blood pressure is an important factor in kidney damage.

Solution: Try to avoid excessive intake of beverages, drink more boiled water, and drink 8 large glasses of water every day to promote the timely excretion of toxins in the body.

4. Eating meat

The American Food Association once recommended that humans should consume 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day. That is to say, a person weighing 50 kilograms can only consume 40 grams of protein per day. Therefore, you cannot eat more than 300 grams of meat a day to avoid damage to the kidneys.

Solution: If protein is found in the urine, eat less meat. The intake of meat and soy products per meal should be controlled to the size of the palm, about 0.5 cm thick. If you have chronic nephritis, you can consider a vegetarian diet.

5. Eating too much salt

Salt, which is indispensable in our diet, is the main culprit for increasing the burden on the kidneys. 95% of the salt in our diet is metabolized by the kidneys. If we take in too much salt, the burden on the kidneys will be increased. In addition, the sodium in the salt will make it difficult for the body to excrete water, which will further increase the burden on the kidneys, thus causing further deterioration of kidney function.

Solution: Daily salt intake should be controlled within 6 grams, of which 3 grams can be obtained directly from daily food. Therefore, food seasoning should be kept within 3 to 5 grams.

6. Overeating

It is generally believed that eating more fruits and vegetables is good for health. However, for people with chronic renal dysfunction, fruits and vegetables, which are usually helpful in lowering blood pressure naturally, contain high potassium. Long-term consumption will damage their kidney function. For people with poor kidney function, potassium will also increase the workload of the kidneys, which is very harmful to the kidneys.

Solution: If you suffer from chronic renal dysfunction, you should not drink too strong fruit and vegetable juices, hot pot soup, or vegetable soup. It is better to eat light food.
