Men's reproductive health is related to reproduction. The incidence of male infertility is caused by a variety of reasons. Unhealthy sperm and jelly-like semen are the key causes of male infertility. What should men do if they find that their sperm is abnormal? What is the cause of male sperm freezing? After normal semen is ejaculated, it becomes thick and jelly-like due to the condensation and hydrolysis of the metabolism of the seminal vesicle. After 10 to 20 minutes, it vaporizes due to the dissolution and hydrolysis of the free fatty acids in the metabolism of the male prostate gland, and becomes thinner. Vaporization time: less than 30 minutes. Abnormal vaporization refers to the situation that the semen cannot be completely vaporized at least 30 minutes after the man ejaculates, or it just starts to vaporize after more than one hour. It includes sperm liquefaction and slow sperm liquefaction, which is habitually called sperm liquefaction. Sperm liquefaction restricts sperm activity, slowing down or inhibiting sperm from entering the uterus for fertilization, leading to infertility. Increased semen viscosity will affect sperm activity and survival rate. In addition, semen often contains protein enzymes that can vaporize thick cervical mucus. Therefore, increased semen viscosity will also affect the ability of sperm to pass through cervical mucus, leading to infertility. When the semen is vaporized at first, it is very helpful for men to ejaculate. Then it becomes gelatinous so that the semen can be retained in the woman's vagina and not discharged at will. Then it vaporizes again so that the sperm in the semen can be fully active and move along the female reproductive system to the fallopian tubes on both sides, which is conducive to sperm and egg fertilization. If it is not such a physiological process, it means that there is a problem with the semen. Reasons for semen not liquefying The most common reasons for semen not liquefying are insufficient free fatty acid dissolving enzymes in male prostate metabolism caused by seminal vesiculitis and prostatitis, lack of nutrients (magnesium, zinc, etc.), congenital male prostate defects, etc. It is generally believed that the secretions of the prostate gland and seminal vesicle participate in the whole process of semen coagulation and vaporization. The coagulation coefficient produced by the seminal vesicle causes semen coagulation, while the sperm liquefaction coefficients such as protein lysing enzymes and cellulose lysing trypsin produced by the prostate gland liquefy the semen. Once the seminal vesicle or prostate gland becomes inflamed, the metabolism of the above coefficients may be hindered, resulting in an increase in the coagulation coefficient or a decrease in the vaporization coefficient, resulting in semen liquefaction syndrome. Therefore, in the case of treating semen liquefaction syndrome, it depends on eradicating the seminal vesicle and prostate diseases. Most patients will also improve their semen liquefaction syndrome after the male prostate and seminal vesicle diseases are cured. |
