The penis is an important male sexual organ and reproductive organ. The corpus cavernosum is distributed inside the penis. When a man is sexually stimulated, the corpus cavernosum will quickly become engorged and swollen, which is also the basis for sexual intercourse. However, due to differences in personal physical conditions and other factors, the penis also presents different states. If you find that your penis is severely bent to the left, you should consider whether it is caused by an abnormality in the tunica albuginea of ​​the corpus cavernosum of the penis.

The medical name for penile curvature is "abnormality of the corpus cavernosum albuginea", which means that there is more corpus cavernosum albuginea on one side, thus pulling the penis to the other side. For example, if there is more corpus cavernosum albuginea on the right side, the penis will bend to the left.

Cause

The inside of the penis is composed of three parallel, long cylindrical corpora cavernosa. The two side by side on the dorsal side are the penile corpora cavernosa, and the other one on the ventral side, with the urethra passing through it, is called the urethral corpus cavernosum.

In daily life, men generally do not pay attention to the care and maintenance of "penile curvature", a common symptom among men. In sexual psychology consultation, it is not uncommon to see men who are troubled by penile curvature. In fact, most of them have physiological curvature, not pathological curvature.

Normally the penis is in a flaccid state. When sexually excited, the sinus vascular muscles in the corpus cavernosum relax and a large amount of blood flows into the sinus cavernosum. When the flow reaches a certain level, the elastic white membrane covering the corpus cavernosum of the penis will fully expand, and then it will become a hard columnar body, supporting the penis to stand upright.

The key is the elastic fibers between the two sides of the penis cavernous body. When they are pulled to the extreme, the penis is fully erect. Because the urethral cavernous body is correspondingly engorged and expanded, the penis is generally slightly bent downward when it is erect, and it is only hard and straight after it is fully erect. However, under normal conditions, the penis is not fully erect. It will only be fully erect in the short few seconds before reaching orgasm. A slight bend or twist is also within the normal range, so there is no need to worry too much. Of course, there are also very few cases of pathological bends.
