A man has a lump in his breast

Breasts are not only for women, men also have breasts, although men's breasts are smaller. However, some men have lumps in their breasts, and many male friends are very suspicious, because lumps should grow in women's breasts. Why do men have a lump in their breasts?

1. Clinical manifestations of male breast lumps

1. Lumps and swelling. The clinical manifestation of male breast cancer is a lump in the breast, which is often formed near the nipple. It is hard in color, has unclear boundaries, is generally uneven on the surface, and has poor mobility.

2. Enlarged lymph nodes. A major feature of breast tumors is that they are easy to metastasize, so if you find chronic swelling of the lymph nodes under the armpits, you should be very careful.

3. Breast skin pits, nipple inversion, and sometimes bleeding from the nipple. The pain is sometimes not very obvious, but if the nipple is found to be retracted and intrudes into the skin, you should be alert.

2. What are the causes of male breast lumps?

1. Breast hyperplasia, breast lumps, with slight tenderness, most of the lumps are close to the periphery of the breast, often limited to one side, and the lumps become cystic when they expand.

2. Mastitis. Acute purulent mastitis causes redness, swelling, heat, and pain on the skin. Tender lumps appear in the affected area. In addition, systemic symptoms such as fever may occur.

3. Breast fibroma, in clinical medicine, is characterized by painless breast lumps, which are often found in the upper outer part of the breast. In a small number of cases, breast fibroadenoma and breast hyperplasia coexist, and there is also mild breast pain.

4. Gynecomastia. Gynecomastia is a clinical medical disease caused by abnormal development of male breast tissue and abnormal proliferation of breast connective tissue due to physiological or physiological factors leading to imbalance of estrogen and androgen ratio. Physiological female breast development syndrome is generally common in newborns, adolescents and middle-aged and elderly people. Physiological gynecomastia is caused by congenital agenesis of testicles, male testicular characteristics, viral infection of testicular inflammation, testicular atrophy caused by trauma, testicular tumors, etc.
