There are many problems with a man's prostate. The most familiar one is prostatitis. There are also more serious prostate tumors, or prostate hyperplasia, etc. These diseases are very harmful and will cause patients to experience pain and other symptoms. At this time, patients must not make blind judgments, but go to a regular hospital for examination, such as a prostate MRI. The specific examination methods are as follows. Prostate MRI examination method: 1. Flat sweep (1) Examination position: The patient lies supine on the examination bed with the head forward, the long axis of the body aligned with the long axis of the bed, and the hands placed at the sides of the body or on the chest. (2) Imaging center: Move the bed surface so that the vertical and horizontal intersection of the cross-shaped positioning light is aligned with the midpoint of the prostate, which is 1/3 below the line connecting the umbilical and pubic joints. That is, the center of the coil is used as the acquisition center, the position is locked, and it is sent to the center of the magnetic field. (3) Scanning method: ① Positioning imaging: Use a fast-recommended imaging sequence to simultaneously perform coronal, sagittal, and axial positioning maps, and determine the scanning baseline, scanning method, and scanning range on the positioning film. ②Imaging range: includes the entire prostate. ③ Recommended imaging sequence: SE sequence or rapid sequence, with the prostate as the examination center, routinely perform transverse and sagittal T1WI and T2WI; if you want to understand prostate invasion, you can add a T2WI coronal plane examination sequence. If necessary, other recommended imaging sequences can be used in conjunction with the condition and MRI equipment conditions. ④Imaging field (FOV): 35-40 cm. The scanning range and imaging field can be set according to clinical examination requirements. ⑤Imaging interval: 10% to 20% of the corresponding layer thickness. ⑥Imaging layer thickness: 3~5mm. ⑦ Matrix: 128×256 or 256×512, etc. 2. Enhanced scanning (1) Rapid push injection method: After contrast agent injection, the post-enhancement scan is started. The imaging procedure is generally the same as the pre-enhancement T1WI procedure. Transverse, sagittal and coronal T1WI are routinely performed. In some cases, a delayed scan can be added after enhancement as needed. (2) MRI syringe injection method: After contrast agent injection, the post-enhancement scan begins. The imaging procedure is generally the same as the pre-enhancement T1WI procedure. Transverse, sagittal and coronal T1WI are routinely performed. In some cases, a delayed scan can be performed after enhancement as needed. |
