Testicular redness and itching

Testicular redness and itching

The testicles are male reproductive organs. From childhood to adulthood, the testicles will undergo significant changes. However, if they are not properly maintained, various diseases will occur. If the testicles are red and itchy, you should consider whether it is eczema. The symptoms of this eczema are redness, heat, and rot in severe cases, which greatly affects normal work and life, so timely treatment is required. Do not let it continue to occur.

The penis and scrotum are itchy and red. I can't stand it if I don't scratch them. After scratching, they all turn red. Some of them look inflamed. It's scrotal eczema.

This is a manifestation of scrotal eczema. Keep the affected area dry and never wear tight underwear. Clean the seams when taking a bath. However, avoid using soap to wash the affected area. Keep it dry after taking a bath. Sprinkle some sweat-absorbing powder if necessary.

Scrotal itching (pruritus scroti) is a very common symptom, especially in young men. The causes of scrotal itching are relatively complex, with both internal and external factors. Scrotal itching is generally caused by scrotal eczema, allergic dermatitis, scabies, etc. People with allergic constitutions, long-term mental tension, and large emotional fluctuations are prone to this disease.

1. Gentle and humid vagina

It is more common in physical laborers, especially in summer, when the genitals are hot, sweaty, humid, and poorly ventilated. The scrotal skin is stained by sweat and rubbed by underwear, causing itching. Wearing tight jeans or non-absorbent, non-breathable nylon underwear can also cause itching.

2. Riboflavin (vitamin B2) deficiency

It can lead to scrotitis. The scrotum will show changes such as erythema, dryness, scaling, papules and crusts, accompanied by itching. At the same time, angular cheilitis, glossitis and oral ulcers may also occur.

3. Inflammation

Scrotitis caused by fungi, such as candidal scrotitis and tinea cruris involving the scrotum, can cause scrotal itching.

4. Other diseases

Neurodermatitis, allergic dermatitis, scabies, eczema, etc. in the scrotal area can all cause itching.

5. Internal and external factors

People with allergic constitutions, those who are under long-term mental tension and have large mood swings are prone to this disease. In addition, people with certain diseases, such as chronic digestive system diseases, gastrointestinal dysfunction, endocrine disorders, and metabolic disorders, are also prone to this disease under the influence of external factors.
